Description:

Demitrios G. Peponis (1880- ) was born in Turkey, immigrated to the United States in 1915, and became a U.S. citizen in 1926. In America, he was known as James G. Peponis. He was healed and accepted Christ at a Pentecostal church in Chicago in 1927. In 1929 he went as a Pentecostal missionary to Shanghai, China, where he founded the Gloryland Mission of China.
